New ICAN Chapter!
Twin Cities Chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) is a mother-to-mother support group for cesarean prevention, recovery and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).  Free monthly meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the second Monday of each month at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1720 East Minnehaha Parkway, Mpls. 55407.  Meetings are topic based and educational with time for support and information sharing.  Call Chandra Fischer at 612-202-1430 or e-mail email or Julie Maas at 612-724-0195 or e-mail email

Holistic Moms group in the Twin Cities
 Our new chapter is a diverse group of holistic moms from throughout Hennepin County and surrounding areas.  We welcome all area moms (and dads) with an interest in natural health and mindful parenting.

Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests. Our chapter kicked-off its activities with in May 2005.  A wonderful group of parents came out to help us to get the chapter started, get connected to other like-minded moms and dads, and catch the excitement of our new community!  Our Monthly Meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Pilgrims United Church of Christ on Rice Lake Road in Maple Grove.
